The wind is blowing, a chill is in the air. Halloween is coming, mortals beware!

Join us for the 15th annual Creepy Crawl 5K and Kids' Monster Dash at the spooky yet beautiful Palmer Lake Santa Fe Trailhead! Costumes are encouraged, and there will be treasure to be had along the way. You'll have a great time while making it possible for our friends and neighbors in need to access membership and programs at the Y. Register early to get your Creepy Crawl T-Shirt. Day of registration not guaranteed a shirt that day.

Race Day Information

Start Times

9:30 a.m. - 5K
10:30 a.m. - Kids Monster Dash

Directions to Palmer Lake Sante Fe Trailhead

Take I-25 to County Line Road (exit 163) and head west. Continue west for 2.5 miles and just before the railroad crossing, on the left, is the access to the parking lot and trailhead.

Awards

  • The top three male and female competitors in each division will bring home the gold, silver, or bronze Creepy Crawl medal.
  • The overall top male/ female will win Fleet Feet Gift Cert
    1st - $100 Fleet Feet GC
    2nd - $75 Fleet Feet GC
    3rd - $50 Fleet Feet GC
  • Award Ceremony will be held near the finish line. Top 3 overall Male and Female 10:00 AM. Top 3 in each age category will be after the kids Dash at 10:45 AM.

Activities

9:00 a.m. Trick or Treat: Get to the Race early and head to vendor village for some trick or treating!
Other activities include- face painting, costume contest Dance off, and fun yard games!

Directions and Parking

From Colorado Springs take I-25 N. Take exit 161 CO-105. Turn Left. Turn right at the 2nd cross street to stay on CO-105 W. Follow CO-105 to Palmer Lake.

The first Parking area will be just south of the lake at the Palmer Lake Baseball Diamond. You will be able to use the pedestrian bridge over the lake to get to the park and the start/finish area.

The 2nd parking area is located on the west side of the lake across the street from O'Malley's. Participants who park here must also use the pedestrian bridge to get to the start/finish area.

The 3rd parking area is located on the west side of the lake just past the Tri-Lakes Center of the Arts at the intersection of CO-105 and Page Street.

DO NOT CROSS THE RAILROAD TRACKS. We have been told by officials that anyone who crosses the tracks on foot will be ticketed and it is a federal crime to do so.
